Biography
MAKSYM GETMAN IS A UKRAINIAN DIRECTOR BASED IN BERLIN, WORKING WORLDWIDE.
Having lived and worked in Kyiv until 2022, his creative roots lie in fashion photography, collaborating with publications including Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, as well as fashion designers.
His films are driven by emotion and sensation. Through movement, rhythm, and atmosphere, he creates work that feels both intimate and visceral. His visual language balances carefully crafted aesthetics with raw human emotion, guided by instinct and a desire to create something that stays with the viewer.
His projects include collaborations with Lamborghini, Porsche, Vogue, Polestar, Rolling Stones, Samsung, Bose, Lexus, Vintage Culture, ARTBAT, and Magnus Carlsen.
